Emergence for Corel Painter represents a unique approach to expressive brushstrokes. Highly customized Paper Grains represent the heart of Emergence’s brushstrokes. 35 of these grains are supplied with Emergence, enabling a wide range of textural possibilities. And by inverting the grain’s dynamic range, a total of 70 textural variations are available. The result is a rich expressive textural painting environment.
Emergence brushes utilize a Dynamic Dabs that are composited together with the current grain. 6 variable apertures are supplied, with each aperture providing a distinct stroke style.
Emergence brushes make novel use of pen pressure. At the lightest pressure, brushes paint with transparency. As pen pressure increases, the brush transitions to color. This unique arrangement enables brushstrokes to segue between smeary and opaque within a single stroke.
